General Screechy Wheel Noise !!!

My 1.9 jtd elx has started to make high pitch screeching noise from the ?frs wheel. No brake shoe indicator light showing on dash. Any help appreciated!

little more info.
does it appear under braking?or go away under breaking?
never ever rely on brake indicators.if your unsure of doing it yourself you can always go to a local tyre/brake place and get them to whip the wheels of and check the brakes.
though if they mention new discs etc have a look yourself before you cough up any cash

the noise DOES stop on breaking, but then returns after a little while.
It takes about 15 mins. from starting the car and turning onto the motorway before it starts. Then it comes and goes. Thanks for the info' !

probably a rubbing pad or a worn down pad!! best bet is whip that wheel of and have a look,could be as simple as something wedged in the pads but a worn down pad will eat into the disc in no time and cost a lot more than just a pad change
