From the shot I saw, it looks like you had to shoehorn that 351W in the box.. Did you have to mod the shock towers for it to fit and did you consider the 351C as well or was it the Windsor all the way?

If you have saved it from being destroyed/ scrapped then it can only be a good thing. Better it lives in this guise than not at all.

Wow! Just came across your build and love the quality of your work, great job on the trim of the apron in front of the windshield..I have wondered how a small block chevy would fit, now I know it's very possible...hope you are out enjoying it now..
