Hi all I've got a 2014 fiat Punto 1.2 it had a new rear crank seal and clutch fitted today and now every time I attempt to engage reverse it grinds worse than when I took it to the garage it's the second clutch and rear seal in 2 years it's had a refurb box 3:years ago and new linkages a couple of months back has anybody have any idea what the issue could be when the car is off it goes straight into reverse with no issues thanks in advance for any advice

Was all this work done by the same garage? How long have you owned the car?

Had the car about 5 years originally gearbox and first clutch and crank seal were done by a mechanic I'd used for probably 10- years plus he also changed the box about 3 years ago and Alfa and fiat specialist changed the linkage around 3 months ago and diagnosed the rear seal leak but he's busy as anything so couldn't get it booked in with him so took it to a garage recommended by others he's well established had the car for 4 days then it's come back worse than when it went in
Take it back to the garage.
