General Red Key ????

I have heard lots of people talking about a red key ? Am i supposed to have one for a 2005 Multipla [new shape] ? I don't have one and the dealer told me nothing about it ??

Erm - i think so, i will have to check later. I use the Skoda on a daily basis, and find myself in the Multi at the weekends, so i will check then.

Hi,

I have no code card with my Multi. The booklet said they do not get issued with British cars. They give a telephone number to ring instead, in case of emergency. There is definitely no red key. I hope this helps.

They don't get issued with the UK cars, due to some insurance aspect!

However, I got mine for the Stilo from the local FIATS part department - cost under a tenner iirc - BUT useful to keep [in the wallet, I hasten to add, and not in the car].

Maybe the Multipla has a different setup.

Multipla's have code2 system.

It will need a code card to add new keys to the system.
