Rebuilds and engine swaps

Hi Ben. I hope you are well and looking forward to X. M.A.S. as I know it....

It occurrs to me that there are a few queires from people doing complete rebuilds, from engine (etc) swaps cropping up. While it can sit under the car type, there is a cetain commonality with those projects, and the ones where engines are swapped dont truly then relate to the standard car. I was just thinking it mihgt be a good division ofr its / their own forums. It would make the things like working through ECU swaps from one model to another and engines / geaboxes easier to find. The problems encountered are all of the same types so changing motors on a DUcato will have commonaility with swapping motors in Panda or Brava etc. Some food for thought anyway. The problem with adding extra sub-forums is most people don't know about them - they just go to their own area.

I would say at the moment, the generic forum for engine swaps would be

Tech Talk

For non model specific talk on the technical aspects of a vehicle.

But there's just a danger that people don't scroll down enough (and not know about the new posts button)...
