Hi guys !
I'n my search for a LHD Cinquecento/Seicento, I found a nice little Cinquecento. It's a 1997 Grey Non-Sporting Cinquecento with ONLY 28000 KM ( VERY LOW ). It's LHD, so real good, but like I said it's not a Sporting model or Abarth... Just a normal one...

So I wanted to know the real differences ? I meen, okay the body kit is different, but apart from that ? Frame ? Brakes ? Motor ? Suspension ?

Also, will sporting parts fit a non sporting ?

Thanks guys !(y)

A cinquecento sx , and S the diffrance to a sporting is ,
899cc engine insted of a 1108
Suspention is 20 mm is lower on a sporting to a non sporting .
none sporting has no anti-roll bar , sporting dose ,
diffrent seats in the none sporting .
brakes are the same iirc
dash clocks are diffrent , The sporting has a Rev counter , a none sporting dosnt

if i can think of any more ill add to it

Ok thanks guys.
But can you put the sporting parts on a non-sporting ?

Let’s say the anti -roll bar, would it fit ?

Also, fior the engine, where exactly are the cc more ? Is it an easy change of just one part or really all the motor ?

I'm new to mechanic, but damn I want to learn ! :slayer:

sporting arb will fit onto the non-sporting, but you'll need the brackets, as for engine swap its pretty straight forward, just re-route the original 899 loom and extend some of the wires, you cant 'upgrade' the 899 to the 1108 as one is 'overhead cam'(ohc) and the other is 'overhead valve'(ohv) so youll need a complete new engine, however, if your going to goforthe engine upgrade then go for the 1242 8v from the punto 60, straight swap using the sporting mounts, youll need the gear selector box aswell as sporting driveshafts, ecu, codebox ect, better just to buy a sporting in my experience, or buy a sporting as a donor car,

Motor is completely different in the Sporting. No interchageable parts. Swaps are possible, but you need -- Sporting engine, gearbox, driveshafts, gearchange mechanism, reversing light connector, ideally, ECU and code box.

Also the sporting and sx have elecy windows. I believe the sporting has central locking either as standard or was an option not too sure and don't think the sx had this option.

Standard electric windows. And black plastic headlamps. And a reverse detente. But This is to over egg the custard............
