He probably wrote the "less than 150 on UK roads" because that is what I wrote when listing my mk2 recently. Just something I read somewhere.

I didn't think an Uno Abarth model ever existed, though it does look pretty nice despite a small bit of rust. Wonder what the reserve is.

uno abarth was just your usual different bumpers iirc. think i recall a couple of posts put up by dunc or chris of kits of the abarth kit/complete abarth kit wether it on its own or on a car.

there are less than 150 mk1 uno turbos registered as on the road by the DVLA as of a few years ago, now there is much less.

the only limited edition uno turbos were the anti-skid mk1 uno turbo which had abs. and the mk2 uno turbo racing edition which was fitted with some extras like air bag and abs.

as far as the abarth bits, that uno turbo has none of them, they were sold as extras by fiat and the reason why you never see the abarth uno kits is because they look crap and no one bought them

Yep, that is not an "ABARTH" version. A real one was on Ebay several months ago. Abarth versions are extremely rare. Who is this idiot kidding?? (n)

Andy.

As said, that is not abarth. THe abarth versions were just add on extras. nothing different to the engine etc.

There was oly 3 full abarth kits sold in the UK when the Uno was released (mk2) so they are extremly rare. One was around on ebay not too long ago.

there were abarth parts for the MK1 too. not sure on bumpers but there were abarth side skirts.

as for 150 on the road. THis is about right, if not less now unfortunaly.

I can't see where is says it's an Abarth. Did the seller say it was an Abarth in a message? It has an Abarth steering wheel is the only comment that I can see in the add - not sure where that wheel comes from Punto? I quite like the look of it, the wheels are too big IMO - 14" I reckon is the optimum size. The seller wants £900 which doesn't seem too bad for a Mk1 but the mileage and lack of receipts would put me off. I'm also liking the look of the Antiskid model on ebay at the moment, have a nice shell ready to put all the bits in. I wonder if the missus would mind, she wants shot of them both so if a wreck turned up she'd hit the roof LOL.
