General Radio compatability

Hi there,

This my first post, apologies if I omit anything and thanks in advance for any help received.

I have a Fiat Marea 1.8 ELX Weekend 1998 and the original radio cassette is beyond repair, I have seen a radio cassette from a 2001 ELX Weekend
with some slight differences and I'm wondering would this fit mine?..

The basic connections for speakers, power etc are standard and all the radios in the various ranges will fit and work. The only difference may be if your car has the steering wheel controls and the donor car does not or vice versa.
