General quick 126 question help

i am about to purchase a 126 4speed box for my vehicle, its a 1987 126 air cooled 600cc and the garage said they have a 702cc box WILL IT FIT? :bang:

no, it will not fit, thats for the watercooled car.

you can swop the bell housings tho,gasket set very cheap from axle gerstl in germany,i have just done this mod to my aircooled,i wanted the longer gearing of the bis.....
