General question

my panda has the same problem since I bought it:
after climbing high hill when the engine heats up, it looses power and very often engine stops. It's hard to start afther that happens but when it works for about 30 seconds it becomes OK.

Distributor possibly? My Uno developed a distributor fault and ran fine until it got hot at which point it cut out.

not a distributor. My machine does not cut off, only has less HP!

After a rebuild on my Fire 1000, I thought the thing was toast as it would sputter and loose power. I was looking at the engine as night fell and noticed some sparks jumping from the spark plug cables to the engine head - seemed to go along with the rough running I was having.
I put black plastic tape over the cables where they push over the plugs and the problem (and the sparks) stopped. I am not sure about heat and this behaviour but it sure solved a strange problem for me.
