Well im new here so looking forward to some great hints and tips.

well to start with i own a punto van, 1.9 diesel, was bougt as used it for my working dogs, now dogs have been sold just love the van so much i decided to keep it anyway,,

well basically i want some decent idea's about modifications
i have modded cars before but not for years now lol.. i do not want extreme mods either

thinks of sprayin bumper white
some fat rims 15 or 16 inch
spoiler
drop it
a nice exhaust

also im after some smart front seats, dont want bucket seats as they just to hard, some nice leather, wha will fit, like mondeo, volvo an so on,
how can i fit the sub frames

only gt basic tools, but pretty good on cars, done engines an so on, i have no welder

Avoid 16 rims, 16" rubber is known for been more expensive 15" ftw

Dont go too fat of a tyre, as all the car will do is then start been skitty in the wet weather
Front wont be too much of a problem due to a big diesel lump
But the back like all punto's is VERY light.... and it'll just slide from under you

Dont bother using current bumpers - get 2nd hand and spray, the Stock plastic black dont spray nicely without ALOT of smoothing of the ripple effect

Spoiler will look naff, been a van, AND pushing rw down? Bit silly when its a FWD.... its just going to waste your fuel

A Decent Exhaust - A Custom Stainless Steel?
Or just a decent Stock setup?

Oh and if your modifying - DONT FORGET TO TELL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY!

ziggy

i just found some very smart 17 alloys. u think they might be to big

my old car was a polo an i euro styled it, any punto been euro styled

my old polo had smooth bumpers. smooth side strips, de badges, de wipered, very very low (140mm drop) flared arches, on 15 borbets.. bonnet bra, small exhaust but sporty sound, tints,

Depends on the wheels, personally I wouldn't go higher than a 15 on a Punto (tried from 14s to 17s)

Some 17s look good but only if the car is lowered, a lot

Seats? Alfa 147 or 156 fit straight

Look for Draggers thread on a modified mk2b in members motors, that might give you some ideas (y)

Welocome m8, I personally would go for a Sporting rear spoiler and sideskirts, and a set of 15's. It will be difficult to pich them up second hand in the right colour so you;; prob have to paint them as not many (if any) came in white as standard...

Godd Luck with it

My Sporting isnt rwd either and I dont have a spoiler but most do...Fiats dont usually have an issue with down force :D Body kits and spoilers are purely for asthetics on these kinds of cars so its just down to personal taste
