Hi All

I bought a 2013 punto 135 multi-air in 2014, at around 40,000 miles in 2017 the car suffered an intermittent misfire, and after hours and hours of diagnostics (and lots of money spent), following some really good advice here (I think it was @varesecrazy ) and a very helpful mechanic, the conclusion was that the multi-air unit had failed and needed to be replaced, he replaced the unit and all was well. The FIAT dealer was useless and fobbed the problem off as a non serious issue.

The car ran well from 2017 to 2024 but a new problem has developed. The car has now done about 75,000 miles. I saw my local mechanic for a routine service, and at the end of the service he re-set the service clock, which he does every time.

After re-setting the oil clock, the engine light has been flashing on / off constantly and the car is now mis-firing when it runs from cold. This is different from the original unit failure in 2017 when there were no error codes and no warning lights.

The error code is 'p1320-55 - Missing Eol Uniair - Not Configured'.

We tried running the 'Uniair actuator dispersion correction' programme but despite following the instructions the sequence won't complete and just says 'wait' on the screen (using a topdon type computer). I've read that the car is meant to self-rev to 1600 RPM but basically the car sat at 750 RPM with no progress made when trying to run the programme.

If there is a simple fix that I'm missing here or any advice I would be most grateful - although there is a FIAT specialist locally, it's easy for diagnostics to run away from you cost wise and the car is probably only worth £2K !

Kindest Regards,

Frazer
