General Punto 188 rear speaker cables

Hi,

I’ve got a 2001 16v ELX Punto 188 and I just got a good deal on some rear speakers.
However, I currently have no rear speakers at all and I went down and checked my car and there seems to be no speaker cables in the boot.

Were rear speaker some sort of option? I have the speaker grills in the boot but seemingly no speaker cables. I thought all 188’s came with rear speakers.

Nope not all did come with speakers

They have a seperate loom that goes from the passenger footwell near door hinges

If they didnt need it - the 2nd half of the connector dont get it

Im affraid you need to feed 2 sets of speaker cable from the hu down to the back

its an opportunity to check your rear footwells for corrosion because even though gibralter is usually better than dundee wet feet usually are the start of the rot
