Technical Possible heater core fail

Hello all, I just found this forum and would like to ask you guys a question.
So I dont have any heat in my cabin, engine is up to temp but no heat whatsoever, only cold. I suspected the heater core is cloged, removed the polen filter and checked with my hand and core is cold.
Is there something else that i need to check?

And if it is a heater core, is there a tutorial how to get to it?

Hi.
Have you performed any service recently?

Air trapped in the unit would be the main problem.

Look in mk2 punto section for antifreeze : coolant changing information

There are small air bleed screws fitted

Hmm I will look into bleeding the sistem but no service regarding cooling was done to it.

What is also wierd is that both hoses that go to the heater core from the engine are hot.

That doesnt mean theer isnt air in the matrix stopping the hot flow.

What engine do you have?

Its 1.4 tJet (150 hp) Petrol.

I just checked and tried to bleed the cooling sistem, no air in it.
But what I did find is that there is heat blowing only on the passanger foot side, so does that mean that i have the same problem as rest on this forum with the actuators that move the flaps?

Yes.. sounds like its the flaps at fault
