Philips Colorvision 12972Cvpys2 H7 Colored Car Headlight 2-Pack Bulbs, Yellow, 36802428: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike

Kind of tempted by the yellow ones as I'm not one of these white light freaks and I've always loved the French selective yellow look :)

Yeh I quite like that French look too but I think it needs to be the right car like an old pug maybe, not sure about a 500 though.

Ok I did some research on the Philips website, looks good!
I am tempted to get the green ones, not too expensive either!

What I find interesting is that Philips chose to use the 500 for the product marketing -- looks nice. Unless this model is specific to the 500?

So they look coloured, but the light they project is actually white? Cool.

If you watch the videos the projected light appears to be coloured. Blue in particular seems like it will cause problems. Normally that colour light is reserved for emergency vehicles. Even if they are E marked, I can see them being a hastle.

If something is e marked then it's e marked :) I had some Philips Motovisions before which have a proper orange tint to them, they were great :)

of course they are not legal, construction and use regs, only white lights at the front, amber/orange at the sides and red at the rear.
you might get away with yellow but the rest will be a pull.

and the name of them sounds like a 1970s television :p

Can only be e marked if they're legal, Philips even provide a certificate with them. The projected light is still white, there is merely a coloured glow. Wouldn't get an e mark if it wasn't legal.

I am sure they are legal but if you buy these you will need to get used to being stopped by the police. Although they can do nothing they will still stop you for sure!

I had my motovisions in for 2 or so years and never got stopped and I had them on whenever all the time :)
