Does your passenger window go up on its own?

My drivers window does it when I hold in the button for a second, but the passenger one doesnt...and I'm sure it used to!

Can someone let me know before I go call the garage? Funnily enough it was in getting a new gearbox on Monday, and some things on my stereo had been reset, but not others!

something similar happened to me the other day only it was with the remote, both passenger windows didn't go up and I noticed only hours later...
I'm sensing some flaws in the window controls central unit.

If it goes up in stages it needs reprogrammed.

There is no window controls central unit.

Oops...meant to post back up about this!

I checked all the windows again last weekend...and they are all working as they should now!(y)

Weird!

SO no idea what the problem was!

 seems i know have this little problem on my bravo. drivers window will not auto close, open or one touch work....

its in at a new dealer tomorrow, i have decided to cut all ties with my supplying dealer, its a shame but how I have been spoke to as a customer on more than one occasion is just unacceptable, hopefully the new dealer will be top notch!! Twice the distance from home but will hopefully be worth it!! Time will tell…

Thankfully my issue resolved itself!

However I meant to post in here last week! The passenger window went mental!!

I put it down a tad by mistake...and so tried to put it up, but it wouldnt. So I put it all the way down and then tried to get it to close in one go....only to find it would go all the way up and then automatically go down on its own!

It did this a few times until I stopped the car at which point it let me close it!

Me thinks these bravos are going to have leccy problems at some point!

Hey Guys,

No need to worry. Our bravos are ok from an electric point of view. I had the same proble after i got the alarm installed. The windows have something like a setup function for each window. I remember the technician moved each window separetaly at the lowest point and if i am right he released it for a couple of seconds and then moved it all the way up and then held the swich for a while. i am not very sure of the sequence but there is a way to do it.. Thats how Papa p probably got it to work by luck!

cheers

You are very right my friend - you have to "program" your windows - they should open/close automaticaly when you press and hold the lock button on your key(should all close if any1 is opened but you have to hold it until it's closed) and if you press and hold open button on your key it should open all the windows. Mine had a problem cause passenger window wouldnt open/close when i tried with key buttons. Guy in Fiat garage showed me that it has to be programmed when it's in close and open position - to do so just close the window and then pull up and hold it for a few sec to save the close position, then open the window fully and release the button, press it down and hold for a few sec and it will save open position of that window. Try - should work for you! Every single window can be done and has to be done individually.
It's a pity that key option doesn't work with my skydome - it won't open/close with the windows when i press buttons on a key and they said in Fiat that's the way it is...

Hope it helps - there is no need 2 go to the garage!

Let me know if it helped lads!
