General Panda wont start

Just got back from uni, my panda (999cc) has been sitting for about 2 months unused.

Left the battery charging last night so thats full, tried to start it this morning and there was a grinding noise from the starter motor, second attempt it was turning as normal but not firing at all.

Dad's coming over with the socket set so we can see if the spark plugs are sparking. What should we be looking at fuel wise if the electrical side is fine?

Just checked the distibutor cap and two of the pins inside have gone. There was a silvery dust in the bottom of the cap so only 2 pins left. Is this enough on its own to stop the engine firing at all?

Thanks, dad came and told me im stupid and they're not broken, they're meant to be flush with the plastic casing lol

Cleaned up the contacts in the distributor and it worked fine, running sweet as a nut

Went for a little drive and found some floods which must have been getting to the bottom of the door, panda sailed through them
