Technical Panda swap

I'm interested in swapping my panda 1.1 mpi. Looking for engines, I found a 1.2 16v and a 1.4 16v at the same price, both including the ecu. Which one do you recommend to take to have fewer problems with the swap?

from what i know, both engines are pretty much the same. the swap from 8v to 16v does require some cutting of the cabin air box housing but other than that it will just fit right in and mount up to the original box.

you will have to add 2cm of length to any exhaust down pipe as the block on any FIRE engine over 1108cc is 2cm taller. i would however assume that the exhaust downpipe is different on a 16v to a 8v.

shame you are in Italy.. i am after a fuel injected engine myself and would have had your old one. dont fancy those shipping costs!
