General panda rims

Hello everybody. I have my panda 4x4 1988 in great working condition now and as winter is coming fast here in Sweden I think it's time to fix up my rims for the winter tyres.
I have rims with rather good tyres on them, the problem is the rims themselves, lookwise that is. The front ones are okay, they are your standard type of steel rim, but the back ones are those hideous, flat VW polo steel rims.

So, my question. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of some original panda steel rims or some similar ones?

And a side note while we're on the topic of wheels. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of some gnarly off road tyres for the panda, like the ones they put on the panda on wheeler dealers?

Tyres used on WD episode were MaxSport tyres
http://maxsport.co.uk/product-ranges/products-grass/ you should be able to contact manufacturer directly in Germany or find swedish distributor.

Tyre other brands as well like Fedima

But if you can afford it for deep snow and ice would be better to go for branded tyres like Pirelli not the remoulds.

Nice car! The tyres I have on mine are quite a popular choice - Malatesta Trac - I got them from eBay from a company called Tyres Direct but you may have a local supplier:



These particular ones are branded 'Univergomma' but basically the same thing. I have not tested them in the snow yet but the Italians use them for that so I think they will be OK.

Yeah I've seen that type of tyre before here on the forum but I havn't known the name, so thanks for putting a name on them, now I know what to look for!
