After a good year of Panda fun with Twinky going to all the shows and meeting loads of like minded souls it time to think of my plans for the year ahead(y)

To round the year off Twinky visited Red Dots rolling road and came away with a nice graph showing 93.22bhp:D

Twinky will again be visiting the shows again this year until any of the other projects are ready to deputise.

And on to the projects. Most of my efforts will be on Austens track day Panda KillR. This is to be a striped out racer with lightwieght everything (apart from driver:p) just on the right side of road legal. I've got to the stage of trial fitting the 150bhp (in final tune) engine and hope to have it back on the road by the start of the summer show season.

It should then, hopefuly, be fully fighting fit by the end of the summer (rollcage, big brakes, uprated race suspension etc).

When I get some free time it will be Scuffy's turn. I've collected most of the parts for its mild update but its more of a long term project.

I've also cooked up plans for a twin sunroof that I've yet to find, find the money for or find the time for:bang: but has that ever stopped a Panda nut.

All of which just leaves Ivor, who I keep an eye on when I get the chance. There are a few little jobs that need to be sorted and a shed load of ICE to install, but Austen just keeps using him(y) running thro a good tankful every week, so its all down to finding a time when his wheels are stationary:cool:.

A good new year to you all... cheers Damon

Nice one (y). Hope you still have a plentiful supply of earplugs :D

Plug, Twinky no longer runs with that LOUD exhaust since the Brooklands show. It was just too much for long journeys (and a family wedding) so has had a standard Panda back box all summer. I need something between the two as the standard box (93.22 bhp) is too restrictive and the side exit too max power:eek:

If you leave your bonnet open and see Damon walking towards it with a tin of white Smoothrite be very, very scared! This man loves to paint rocker covers with the white stuff!

Ah well, at least Scruffy is staying Italian unlike KillR who is obviously the bastard son of Italian/ Japanese parentage! Mid mounted Alfa 164 V6? Mmmmm :yum:

Work is progressing nicely with the engine now firmly bolted in place.

The next stage is sorting the driveshafts and then we are on the home straight:rolleyes:

We also picked up the following off ebay for £10.50 for the odd run up a drag strip:cool:

That's hell of a close to the bulkhead  are you going to smack it back a bit?

I can see the first time you hit the throttle the manifold will split...

But very shiny :cool::cool:

There's a good 3/4 inch! Due to the fact that it is a track day car, will be launched hard on the drag strip and the driveshafts will be shorter than standard the decision was made to solid mount the engine. It also has five major mounting points unlike the standard Panda three.

If it does split we have a nice set of bike throttle bodies we can fit:idea:

How's Ivor BTW?

Doing realy well(y) Austen now uses him more often than his Stilo:D We removed the eastenders logo due to rubber-neckers trying to look for the 'enders' star that was driving:eek: His speedo cable is a bit loud at the dash end, we can change the note by moving the cable at the engine side but will need to lift the heater to sort it properly (its traped underneath). Ivor always brings us out in a smile :)
