General Painting at last

Progress has been a little slow in the last month or two but I've finally managed to get all the dents sorted and new door bottoms fabricated and fitted and a coat of epoxy primer over the main body.
I'm never going to have a beauty queen show winner but its certainly going to be one solid car and FUN!!!

Depends on the colour you go for. If you choose wisely the paint alone will stand up against the standard ones.

It's going to be bright orange ral2004 code, I will certainly be noticed coming down the road!

Had a few coats of 2K primer now and had a guide coat put on it so will see how flat it is tomorrow night.
I know I still have quite a lot of work to do on the doors and I don't think I will ever get them even close to perfect but it's mostly for fun not going to be for show use!

Got the colour on the body today only got one run on the the front wing restarting after a refill of the gun when the light was starting to fade and my mask needed cleaning so quite happy really as good as it will get in our workshops!!!

That looks great, just been looking through your earlier posts the work on this so far looks amazing.

Looking at these gives me the drive to make sure I don't take short cuts!

I can't wait to see your completed work.
