Hi all
I have just joined this group having just purchased my giardiniera last week;
I am sure I will have lots of questions - but my first is - where can I find the paint code because I need to order some touch up.
Regards to all

Hi, I previously ordered paint by code and found it very different !
You could either try carmedic for touch ups or I found a place that I brought a piece of car to ( painted bumper spacer ) , they scan and I bought a marker, tub with brush ( like nail varnish ) and a can of aerosol spray ! ( Vinny Byrne, dublin ).
Don't know where you are based but I am sure you should find similar locally with google ?

Unlikely that there will be one anywhere....might be able to find out something from the chassis plate assuming Fiat have any production records

I am not sure if you can post a question without a photo of your car. (OK, I made that up because I think we all love seeing photos of 'new' cars no matter what.)

Under the bonnet you should have an aluminium ID plate with Chassis and Engine numbers and the paint color. Having said that, my car has said plate but paint code is not on it.

Armed with or without this detail, go to the web site I have included here and key the year and select Fiat in the Classic Vehicle section.

Look for your code or just match by the color. Lots of pages of Fiat colors here.

Not sure if this will help because I suspect no one will actually know the formula anymore. Please let us know how you get on.

thanks for the input. I just tried the autocolour library thing and that did not work.
The chassis plate shows a six digit number "for spare parts" so perhaps there is a paint code in that?.
I don't know if there were many colours in those days so I am attaching a photo of "bluebelle" in the hope that sdomeone may suggest what the colour is called so I can try to identify it. If not, I will try to take a piece of the car to a paint specialist.
