ot - saxo issue, overheating? what does the light mean? cheers xx

My friend has a r reg saxo, it doesnt have a temp gauge but the light thats like a thermometer with lines through it like water keeps coming on, does that mean its over heating? water? coolant? i have no idea?

Sounds like he has too litle coolant in the system, or is owerheating due to a air lock, faulty pump, faulty thermostat

Coolant = pure watter, mix of antifreeze and water, or sinthetic pure antifreeze
