I might possibly of put 2 much oil in would that leak out pls?
Sorry, the pictures don't really help very much. You'd have to put an awful lot of oil in before it got to the stage of overflowing. However overfilling is never a good idea as it often leads to oil leaking past seals and contaminating clutch driven plates and loads of other problems. Over filling engines can lead to oil being burnt and maybe damaging the likes of the Cat.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. Often with oil leaks the best thing to do is clean it off with something like a degreaser or carb/brake cleaner and dry it off. Then drive it around for a wee while and take another look. Often then the source will be more obvious as the leak won't have spread very far.

No. That looks like minor seepage through the gasket/joint face. If it's not heavy enough for dirt/grime to form, it's very minor and not worth worrying about.

On the other hand... wipe it off (use a solvent spray to remove all traces) then come back for another look in a couple of weeks' time.. you want to know whether it's staying "minor seepage" or whether it's getting worse.

But I've never seen an engine that doesn't have some kind of oil marks on it.. so it's probably normal patina..

To trace minor leaks:

1) clean off oil and surface
2) mist spray seams / gaskets with water
3) apply/puff talc or flower to seams / gaskets

Alternative use a stick of white chalk.

The first signs of an oil leak will readily show long before it spreads along the gasket / seam. This makes actual leak point easier to find.
