General Oil Capacity Panda 1000 Super (Classic 1989)

I bought a Panda 1000 S for the lovely sum of £50 yesterday with 1 years MOT and 6 Months Tax AND A STEREO!!!

Basically its in dire need of a service, this is the first fiat ive had (building up to a Fiat Uno Turbo)

What is the Oil Capacity for the engine with a new filter?

Any help would be much appreciated.

999cc Oil capacity (inc. filter) = 3.8 litres.

well done with buying a £50 panda , they seem to be making crazy money at the moment.
I've also got a 1989 1000s and love it ! these are (in my opinion) apart from the 'pink' the best of the bunch , all the right trim etc

The sort of car you really have to drive to understand the fun factor! :slayer: Its only done 66000 miles, and 2 lady owners from new with FSH!

Wow, that sounds like a steal... proves that not everyone knows the Pandas true worth.
Go through everything now and youll have lots of trouble free miles. Its well worth replacing the points and setting timing to get them running well too, £50 I dunno

lol...Cracks me up ....why do you all think if its had "lady owners " it will be ok !!!!
We thrash our cars just as hard as you men and i'm sorry but in general (not us FF girlies of course) women are pretty c... at looking after their cars until they go wrong !

Its got carb problems, it runs lumpy and sometimes bogs down on the motorway and then cuts out once you come to a stop. I think its to do with the mixture or the thermostat as it runs cold on the m/way. :bang:

Anyway i will get some pics asap, got to polish it first!!! :slayer:

the carb rarely causes those problems on the Panda... more like an ignition problem, check it all over before looking at your carb.
