Technical Off-road tires?

Hi chaps,

I hope you are all well and have enjoyed some Panda-based antics over the Bank Holidays? I certainly have!

I was wondering whether one of you could advise me on the best tires to get for a 4x4? Mine are nacked and I'm thinking some 'winter shoes' may be in order. Would off-road tires be a good idea (thinking ice more than snow), or should I plump for some winter tires? Which ones should I get, and where could one order them?

Thanks for the heads-up Vman! Have yet to master the search strings!

So it would seem that fitting winter tires now may not be the best idea... Could you recommend a good set of (cheap) regular tires to fit instead, please?
