So my gf's 2011 500 twinair does not give heating, the cold air ac works fine. I have tried a lot of things now and I really need some help before I go to the dealers and spend thousands...

Here are some of the things I have tried:

Took out and flushed the heater core
Checked the pipes leading to the heater core, which are flowing and hot.
Changed the blend door actuator
Disconnected the battery for a few hours
Vacuumed the cabin temp sensor in the middle of the dash

What else can I do here? What am I missing or are there any steps that I'm not doing right? Any advice massively appreciated.

If the engine temperature gauge is accurate and reads in the middle (90degrees Centigrade approx.) the heater matrix has been flushed and water pipes in and out are same as engine top hose temp, and heater fan blows , then all you have left is the control of the ducting of warm air.
I assume no heater vent pipes have fallen off heater?

Yeah the pipes are fine, there's zero leaking and both are hot. The engine temp is also good and I have no overheating issues.

What is the control of the ducting of warm air? Is that a control unit inside the heater box?

Others can give specific advice, I would just get my head under the dash and physically check with a torch and by feel.:)
