I have the no fps error showing, with the airbag warning lights lighting, no fps clears and is replaced by the odometer reading flashing.
A few weeks ago the radio stopped turning on.
The battery was replaced the day after the error showed up.
I've attached a picture of the faults that ate showing up.

my next step is to check the groud connections tomorrow, any other suggestions or advice is welcome.

Yes, check the main ground and other basics. Inspect main fuse/relay box for corrosion (wires, underneath the fuses/relays) and ABS connector.
Then CAN network (one faulty module will take down or spoil almost entire communication in the car), but this is done with a "scope" (oscilloscope), right away you can see trashy waveforms, noise. Most common issues are leading to AirBag, ABS, radio, Blue&Me, dashboard (instrument cluster) modules.
Body, ECU, Steering are more reliable.

As for fuel (cutoff) related errors, it's AirBag module probably (and/or communication with the Body). AirBag + BodyComputer = FPS (or FIS) function.

Check the power quality too (alternator - if it's charging, but low like 14,1 V, it is a "beginning of the end" probably).
