Greetings, I've just joined this forum having acquired a 1959 500 Nuovo as a restoration project. I'm in Victoria, Australia. I've owned 2 Fiats previously- a Superbrava (1980 model if memory serves) that I absolutely loved and a Regata that I loved a lot less. Had a couple of friends with 500s back in the early 80s and loved them of course. The one I've bought is a basket case and will be subject to a complete restoration. Looking forward to sharing the experience and picking some brains.

Welcome Pete! How about some before pictures of your 500 project? As your restoration goes along photos of your progress would be great too!
Thanks Slotman. I've posted a few photos of the car, as I acquired it, in the 'Classic 500' forum. I'll put up a restoration thread there as time- and progress- permit.
