Well as I promised here are the Pics.

Its not quite pimped but believe me a lot better than when I got it, here it is after its first wash when we got it.

It have been owned by in-laws as there daily runner. Used for the tip run, everything.

The only good thing about it was serviced regularly every 6mths normally it had only done 1-2k miles.

I think it was serviced more than it got washed.

After breaking once and going skidding to a stop I had plans for it :D

New tyres I thought but this changed into wheels as well I got the Mk2 alloys and did the refurb - I wont repost see my signature on the refurb.

These have been fitted with bolts supplied by Richie.Guy (Recommended ;)) I have found 28mm front and 24mm rear are what is required (y)

After coming on this forum and seeing more coloured coded and lowered Puntos my next job was to lower the car 35mm.

Lowered.jpg

Looking at the car now I wish I done 50mm but I didnt want it looking like a young lads car.

Next I got colour codeitus ;) so after sourcing the correct bumpers 2 rear attempts were wrong hence some for sale in Signature :D

Once I had the right parts it went down to my mate in Read- Lancashire I can certainly recommend him he does all my cars as and when required but hes a perfectionist

So what I had done new bumpers colour coded, wing mirrors coloured and door handles, NSR back 1\4 resprayed, NSR back door resprayed, tailgate dents removed debadged and resprayed (y) Some pics below

Since getting back Ive sprayed the bee sting arial.

Also the rust bolts holding the rear bumper on  not to sure about them but look better than rusty bolts.....

Oh forgot to say about the Tyres they are FAT 205\50 front 215\45 rear they arent the tyres I was gonna get but they were bargain.

Before and after below (y)

Future plans for the Punto:-

Exterior

1) Fit and spray this spoiler

2) De-badge the bonnet and respray and most probably the two front wings at the same time

Now looking at plans for the:-

Interior

Look what Ive got to start with  suggestions welcome

Conclusion

Trying to create something subtle but nice looking not at great expense as knowing me I will sell it and change it for something in a year (y)

Finnished result- 5 Dr Gangstermobile :nutter:

To the "Man who Can"

If you put to put this in Readers rides, please do.. (y)

No thanks daz, not looking to do engine mods, maybe a back box but that will be only to replace mine if it goes (y)

Looking very nice indeed :) alloys work well
All the colour coding looks good, and the 3 door front bumper :D

As for the interior you could swap it for a sporting one, mine is the same as yours, horrid and uncomfortable, especially as the drivers seat is broken
You could also get a sporting/ HGT centre console, subtle but makes a huge difference imo and you could get a sportier gear knob, i got a richbrook one but it can get cold in the morning! you could also colour code some interior parts

Overall though top notch! (y)

Nice looking Punto.
What year, if you don't mind me asking?! :)

nice result on the car mate, glad to finally see some pics up.. :)

wheels are a bit iffy, but what ever makes you happy.. as for the interior you best start with some better looking seats, them grey ones look dull.. (y)

also tinted windows would look ace on that car...

Yeah Im going to give it a good clean inside this week-end

What do you mean iffy, you dont like the colour or its a bad refurb ?:)

I wanted something different, not standard silver or black.

Personally i thought the gold with the red was nice.... but that me

IMO gold alloys only suit scoobys, but if you like them then keep em..:)

rest of the car looks ace tho and will look even better when you have finished.. (y)

Wheels are like Marmite by the looks of the replies, imho black would look better (hopefully will have mine done soon.)

I have a red 5 door and the inspiration here is great, any chance of a price list for each mod? Working on a students budget here.

With the interior i'm gonna get Sporting seats and ELX door cards (cos they come in greay and all 4 doors can be done), might be a thought eh? Also colour coded gear and handbreak gaiters would look nice.

Are you planning on taking the rubbing strips off at all? Personally I wouldn't as they continue the black line around the car that is naturally created by the bumper inserts.

As mentiond above Tinted windows would suit the car as it is the darker red. Might be worth a quick photoshop to see :D

All in all a very nice clean car. 5 door ftw!!!!!(y)

I'm deffinately no scooby fan never have been and as for the new one it looks awfull :yuck:

Cheers ;)

Its a 2000 why do you want to buy it (y)

Ah it's ok, I already have a 2000 Punto!!
Just merely saying that (including the work you've done) it's looking good for an 8 year old car - it's amazing how MK2 Punto's seem to last! :p :)

It looks somewhat 'angry', if that word describes it.
