General Multiecuscan P2620 error

Hello All, any guidance or ideas appreciated on this problem.
I have an engine control warning light on my multijet Multijet and plugged in Muliecuscan to see what it is, it shows a P2620 error (motorised throttle, invalid signal, fatal) that remains on after clearing, there’s also a P0638 error that appears.
Can anyone tell me what it relates to and where to look to correct?
It appeared after I replaced a burst water hose that involved taking a few bits (egr, water pump etc.) out to get access.

There is a throttle/ butterfly valve in the air intake piping , check it

The two codes appear related so fix will probably enable both codes to be deleted

Thanks for the reply Jack, while investigating your suggestion I noticed that a connector under the air intake was loose, I must of missed it when reassembling everything, plugged it back in ran Multiecuscan, cleared the errors and they haven’t reappeared and the dash light is cleared!
Still got an EGR error now and again but the doesn’t light up the dash so no problem for the MOT!
