Technical Motor mounts not lining up on engine reinstall

I'm putting the engine back in a 72 124 and the motor mounts are not lining back up. Are these things spring loaded or what?

As this is in the 126 section I am not clear about your car. Is it a 124 or a 126?
The 126 has a sprung mount at the rear. Not sure about the 124. Despite owning a 124 Special many moons ago I haven't got a manual. Have you tried ePER. Link at top of page.
