Sisley went for MOT today. Fails are

1. Exhaust - need to replace two sections
2. Headlights still to high !
3. Rear brake sticking
4. Rust on passenger door needs fixed.

Not any suprises really. Not got bill yet though!

Exhaust needing two sections is all of it... around £80 to £90 fitted, headlamps shouldnt cost more than £10 to adjust, rear brake sticking could be a wheel cylinder so budget around £6 for the part and an hours labour, as for rust, well I expect theyll just fill it rather than weld. If you get a bill over £250 inc. MOT fee then youre being taken for a ride.

I knew it needed an exhaust and got a quote from National for £193! That was last summer when I had just got it. I didn't replace the exhaust then as I thought that was just a bit too expensive!

Got sisley back. Am happy with results. Cost a bit less than nuovapanda's estimate and the shiney exhaust looks nice. The fibre glass on the door doesn't look too bad and will look fine once I sand and paint it.:D

The bosal backbox on mine has bosal stamped in the metal in big big letters. As long as it looks like the original then i'm sure its fine

I just bought the rear box for my 750 for £29 from PartCo, then fitted myself.
