Have to agree with s&b on this. There was a time when intakes were simply a neccessary restriction and there were gains to be had by bolting on various whatevers. Modern induction systems are exactly that , a system married to the map and optimised to the nth degree. You have to consider , swirl , resonances, charge going past the injector in reverse etc etc. Bolting on an aftermarket filter will change things , but the only meaningful way to go about it is with a dyno, exhaust analyser and remap kit.

Note the first video you posted with the K&N panel filter? That's what you need in your car ;)
However in answer to the original question it looks like you've fitted it ok as long as its held well in place and not rubbing against anything it shouldn't be any trouble

Just to highlight one thing, note the size of the output tube on the filter then the adaptor pipe you've used then the size of the pipe going into the car's induction system. Thats where the major restriction is which makes that big a filter pointless

yeah you are right but i think the one i installed is the sportive edition which increase the hp a little bit + i need its sporting sound :D
well it's held great in its place and not rubbing or vibrating :D
yeah i agree with you about the adapter pipe but you must listen to my car sound with this installment at high rpm !! still need a good exhaust replacment for the stock one :) any advices ??

It won't do any harm where it is. Can't see it doing any good, either. A search for GSR here will give you a better idea of how to do it.

well its doing good through its sound :D
i did the search thanks alot :)
