My Son's 1.3 JTD has seemingly lost oil presure, we were lookign for a leak on the front of the engine suspecting the oil cooler but now the car will not pull and the low presure warning is comming on most of the time.
Does the Dobo restrict performance if the OIL presure is low?
I am going to replace the cooler seals in the first instance, but I don't think it's leaking at such a rate to cause the system to be that low.
So far it does not sound like there's any mechanical damage.
I read somewhere about a relife valve spring it the filter housing but not clear on this.
How is the oil pump replaced, documentation on lie seems scant.
Hope to get this fixed as the car has had lots done over the last 18 months and not ready to quit on it yet.
