Looking to buy a tipo

Hi everyone. Thank you for accepting me to the group. I’m a driving instructor in Liverpool and I’m looking at buying a Tipo to teach in. Is there any specific engines to watch for, or specific issues to be aware of at all please? Also I’m still young at heart so looking for a few styling options if they are available.

The Tipo is like a Dacia

Built elsewhere to old Specs

They are built in Turkiye

And owners on here have had issues getting replacement suspension parts


Engines should be fine, but the lack of suss pension parts is a concern

Try and find a new coil spring for the car you've seen

Thank you for that. I’m sick of paying silly money on vw’s so looking forward to something cheaper to run haha. Saw a few with 30k for around the 5k mark which seems to be a good price. But will keep in mind about suspension haha
