Who was it that wanted a track night again? Ask, and ye shall receive!

We at SAROC are having 2 track nights at Knockhill this year. The first is on Friday 15th April and the second on Friday 12th August. The cost is £60 for the main driver, £30 for any additional drivers and £10 per passenger. Registration and briefing starts at 5pm and track time runs between 6pm and 8pm.

Can you post this on your form and ask anyone interested to e-mail on [email protected].

Can you advise anyone coming along that they must bring their driving licence with them and a crash helmet, although these can be obtained from Knockhill.

So who's all up for popping along? Would be good to see a few FS'ers there this year!

I'm up for it..great fun this, went to Aug 2010 night in the HGT. It was rainning and I was a bit anxious, but once you get going, you'd be amazed at the speed you can go in the wet!! Without going off the track, takes a good bit of concentration.

Count me in.

id do it in the brav but it needs some suspension work and i wouldnt enjoy it.. knowing how the sei would have been

Fair enough, end of the day Steve what's the point in risking going round a track, knowing that the Suspension could go at anytime??
Neo would have been brilliant around the track, my Seicento on the other hand wouldn't have been.
I can think of 3 people on here who have track day car's
David- RallyCinq
Donald- RallyCinq
Ming- Stipped Cinq

You don't have to take RGZ on the track if you don't wan't to Rob.
If like me you just want to spectate, then there's a spare seat in the GP

Yeah, was thinking that if I didn't get the brakes sorted. I mean, it's perfectly drivable but if I were taking it on the track, I'd want to put new ones on. Or I could just thrash the pads/discs that are on there before I swap them over. Could make for an interesting drive home though

yeh put the new ones on afterwards. no point ****ing old pads....

and for how easy they are to change we could just do it at the track if its THAT needed before you go home.

You fancy some photography/vids Dougie and I will pop along. I've no excuse as its 10 mins from my house...ok maybe 20 if you're being sensible.

Bravo is not being tracked. Fast road use only ;)

Looking to do the brakes next few months anyway. Well, if I can be arsed spending the money of course  Discs/pads on there the now have a good few miles left in them, though the discs have a fair lip (especially on the inside of the fronts) and there's squealing from the back (though this could be handbrake related - needs investigation). Pads probably do need a change too given the mileage they've done since last change though I've never really been a heavy braker.

Wouldn't mind doing a Brembo conversion if anyone's got £1k spare
