I have just bought a 2005 fiat ducato 2.8 jtd based Hymer c class 614 gt motor home, very nice for year.
When I connected my Autel OBD reader to the obd port I got some fault codes for the engine and a mystery one, I cleared all faults and restarted the engine.
The engine fault codes have gone, but i,m still left with this mystery fault code which off the top of my head said something like dephi 2 voltage readings etc etc.
Having looked this up on the internet this apparently relates to central locking and the key fob?
Problem is my van as far as I know does not have central locking, still has the push down button on the door to lock it or use the ignition key from outside. It has wind up and down windows, the two keys that came with the van are black with a flick out key and no buttons on them for central locking, I cant see anywhere for a battery either, just opened it up and no battery or electronics in it apart from a small rice shaped thing which I assume is the transponder no Fiat logo etc on them either.

Anyone have any idea whats going on ??

I am struggling with the source of your mystery alarm, as the x244 model does not have a canbus system, just largely discrete processors. I think that perhaps your basic code reader doe not "speak fluent Fiat", and that the code is a misinterpretation.
I understand that the Fiat alarm system available for the x244 did not have "Thatcham" approval, and hence non OEM systems were favoured by converters. My 2006 x244 2.8jtd is so equipped.
My vehicle also does not have a battery in the key fob, as it has a separate alarm fob, with battery.
Your deduction that the presence of a push down button denotes the absence of central locking is incorrect, as my vehicle has both, with the aftermarket alarm connected into the central locking.
Electric windows, central locking, and electric windows were included in one or perhaps two option packs. Optional equipment is powered via a fusebox at the RHS of the cab. Does your vehicle have this fusebox?
Do not loose the code transponder from your key(s), or you could be in expensive trouble. The key for my vehicle also lacks a Fiat logo.
