Technical Jumping out of 5th gear [Solved]

So I wrote a full guide but then my login timed out and I lost the lot.

So if your car has just started jumping out of 5th gear the issue could be due to the tiny pads that hold the gear in have escaped or failed. Mine escaped due to the 30mm nut coming loose on the shaft.

To fix it cost me £26 and most of that price was gearbox oil.
