When I was young, there was a saying "I want never gets.".
I would look for J028 under the black plastic hood at the rear of the engine bay. If you have aircon there will be similar relays in the same location.

Sorry I am Dyslexic , have searched, apart from the wiring dagrams showing J028, canot find any photos of where its location is

Apologies accepted. I have a son who has Aspergers syndrome. I rarely get thanks from him.

Have you looked under the hood at the rear of the engine bay, as suggested? The other possibility is in its own box, perhaps with speed control resistor, close to fans.

That is one possibility, but as relays are not individully labelled, you may have to resort to checking wire colours. See attached chart for translation of codes, if required.

@frankie70 , On my copy of eLearn for the x244, relay J028 only appears on the diagrams relating to 2.3jtd and 2.8jtd engines with air conditioning. It does not appear on the drawings for the 2.0jtd, which is what you state your vehicle is. Further as it is a speed control relay for one of the fans, it is more likely to be separately mounted in its own box when fitted.

Thank you for your reply, The reason im looking i have the engine light on, with a Code reader/scanner the fault codes P0481/P0480 are regeatering, so i changed relays T06/T07 checked the fuses, with no change to the Engine Light after reading outher wiring diagrams, i was looking for to see where J028 location again thank you
