Some photos from an excellent day at Hopetoun House, an event organised by a variety of forums from Italian marques.

Stephen Gaddis of Barchetta Scotland (surely the Bernie Ecclestone of the b world!) and the others should be congratulated for organising a great day at a great venue.

The cars? Amazing!

The winning car was an immaculate, and totally original 500.

TBH I have only just noticed the events button at the head of the page... I will pay more attention in the future. I saw a couple of Maseratis together heading north on the A1 on Saturday.

5 barchettas attended. no orange one. no yellow. no blue (of any type). no red. no green.

2 x black
2 x silver
1 x 'aubergine' black

Would be nice to get a full house of colours together sometime...

Would have loved to have come along and add to the B count but as usual with these summer events I was working. That said, my B aint up to scratch. I'm hoping to get a full respray and dints sorted out soon but what with the death of the Panda and new Bravo in the house there aint much money kicking about

But I must say a huge thank you to Steve for his work on BarchettaScotland.com and the events he organises. I just wish I could go to more of them but work scuppers it more than often. I hope my wee b vid makes up for my continual absence.

Here is a few of my photo`s from Sunday.
Good effort from Colin all the way from lytham to attend this hope this encourages more B owners to put the same effort in as a crowd of a dozen + B`s together would be a awesome .

Had to include a photo of this maserati , In black with the Cream interior looked stunning .

Yup! Mine too! Great pity you couldn't come along but Ricky, Colin & Paul did a fine job (with mirrors and stuff) to make it look like 5 cars!! Maybe see ya on the Xmas run? unless I can be persuaded that there would be interest in an Autumn day out as well:idea:.
