Technical Is this to do with the Remote CL?

So...I took the lower steering column shroud off my MK2b to run a live connection for my new stereo and saw this wire:



I'm assuming it is an antenna for the remote central locking? If not, what is it, transponder antenna perhaps?

Do you habe the Meta remote c/l? (Small round blue fob seperate to the key?)

If so i have same wire and i have the kit

Nah, mine has the Fiat remote central locking, all on the same key. Must be the wire for that though huh?

Hmmm... maybe mine also had remote central and the meta kit
