yeah, we have run into a few technical problems before our adventure next friday !! and need a quick fix, a friend has one of these forsale so was just wondering of we could use the engine parts for our panda....

he only wants £50 for it so its not that i'd be wasting that much plus we can take everything out of it and use it as spares ;)

As for taking stuff from the scoob....i'd love to but i don't think the other half would be happy (n)

Meanwhile, more or less back on thread:

It's a pity you didn't itemise what bits you need, as you'd get specific answers rather than general.

The bits which seem to commonly fail on a 4x4 are rear leaf springs and fuel tank (as it's a steel tank. the plastic tank off a later 2x4 doesn't fit, but I don't know about a Marbella tank).

The Marbella rear springs don't have as many leaves - Pandaman knows about this, and their limitations, do an advanced forum search.

However, body panels and fittings are the same or very similar, and obviously there's no 4x4 drivetrain.

Engine - different, OHV rather than OHC, and less BHP too.
