I have started to notice places on my poor sisley hold water and turn into iron oxide. I have caught it in time but i thought, just for future reference, where does your panda rot!

I found the water channel/drain by the boot likes catching leafs and water!

as does the one by the bonnet above the bulkhead

the !!metal!![:0] fuel tank (coz its a 4x4). which are quite rare, and i sucessfully welded!:D

Suspension post tops!

And generally most of the back end!

Door bottoms ... particularly the nearside one. My offside rear wheelarch is pretty dire too.

I'd refer you to pictures but at the moment I've nowhere to host them yet as NTL have buggered up my website :(

Steve - who's had the life force sucked out of him by NTL :(

BOTTOM OF FRIGGIN DOORS!! i've been fighting the rust here for years and it always comes back.. this summer i'm gunna cut all the rust out and replace it with fibre glass.. people tell me to just buy new doors but if you can find a rust free pair you must be very lucky..

I have noticed the same problem but only the offside door, which reminds my to ask...
On the Sisley the door bottoms have "4x4 SISLEY" on them and because door bottoms like getting rusty the sticker will need removing.

Does anyone know where i can get them from!

I have not looked at the bottom of the doors on my 93 Fire yet, but, in my old Benz 230 (1966), it had some drain holes in the bottom of the door that could plug up. It was outside and I heard some sloshing around after one nasty storm and then found the drains were plugged up. Let out quite a bit of water once I got them flowing with a toothpick.

I will be looking tomorrow.
