I checked on my car and had to confirm it was the plug with the thicker wires by checking continuity. The plug with the thinner wires goes to the engine. The one with the thicker wires seems to go to the passenger fusebox. So in the manual pin 87 of relay 14 goes to pin 4 or 5 on one of those engine fuse box plugs. If you pull out the relay you can see pin 87 is marked on the bottom of the relay. Its the first connector you see when you open the fuse box hinge and start seeing the connectors under the fusebox.

Hi, thanks for your reply, but can you tell me color of the connector? Black one or brown one?

Hi, again, so now i have to connect engine fuse box (pin 23) and multi timer unit (pin 8). Connector on the fuse box is the same one, brown one, but which one is connector on multi timer unit. On diagram its labeled as "C" but how do i know which one is "C" connector?

From looking at the wiring diagram just pull a plug out and see what happens. If A is out the headlights and rear indicators dont work. If C is out the front indicators dont work but the side repeaters and rear indicators do work.

You are smart, thanks to you, now i have front fog lights!

Good to know they are working. Your next problem will be they produce almost no useful light that travels into the darkness. You can however see the side of the road better! :)
They are useless, but this is project car, expect new post about electric rearview mirros wiring soon😁

Hello guys. I run into your discussion regarding the installation of fog lights in a Punto 188 2b. I have the same model and I really want to install them too but I am troubled because I did not comprehend all what you mentioned above. Can you jelp me by giving me more detailed info? ( Photos would be helpful too) . Thank you in advance.

Hi, you will need to connect the passenger fuse box to the engine fuse box with one wire. From the engine fuse box, you will need two wires, each going to one of the fog lights. Additionally, you will need two ground wires connected to the fog lights.

Hi. Thank you for the answer
The cables that are for the fig lights are already installed. I would like to have detailed info on were and how I connect the wire from the engine Fuse box to the passenger fuse box.

You'll need pins from an old connector from the junkyard, and then just extend the wires. If you're asking which connector you should use for the wires, I can check that tomorrow.

Thanks again. Probably I didn't explain correctly, my mistake. As I have seen from the above electric diagram I have to connect pin 23 of the engine fuse box, corresponding to the brown connector (after a closer look I realized that the pins are some how numbered, from 1 - 16 first row, 17 - 32, second row), to pin 8 of the multi timer unit inside the passenger Fuse box.
I have seen where the pim 23 is. But were is pin 8? Where is the multi timer unit and where exactly is the connector that corresponts to that pin?
Can you send me a photo?

Multi timer unit is right behind passinger fusebox, pin 8 is in blue connector next to rhe obd port.
