I'm wanting to get an induction kit. (The Focus Ones) - My car is a Punto Mk2 1.2 8v

Could anyone tell me what one will fit?

Is it true that I need to block this hole with silicone? (The small hole :p)

Waste of money unless you want your car to have a 'woooosh' sound as you accelerate, also its the 8v which has balls all bhp to begin with so you might get something like 1bhp gained? Not worth it dude. Just buy a K&N air filter if you want good air intake

This one.

The K & N replacement panel filter is a fine option (the K & N cone type filter as supplied by K & N is a complete and utter waste of time -- just sucks in hot air).. But while you're unlikely to feel the difference, there are dyno sheets (by GSR) which suggest that the Focus kits are better than stock and the GSR better than the Focus.

There's nothing wrong with the 8v engine, but it's sitting in too heavy a car -- mind you, you could say the same of the 1.2 16v.
