idle rev

hi can any one help please,when i take my foot off the accelerator the revs drops and cuts out,i took it to a garage and he thinks its one of the sencers has gone down,he was going to do a dianostics check but could not find where to plug it in.my car is a fiat bravo 1300,16v

ICV- idle control valve,its on top of the TB.Replace that first.I had this problem on mine.
To get round it as a temp basis take that clip off your throttle cable and move it up 2 notches so that it has more fuel goin thru technically and your car should idle.(same as your pedal bein pressed) Watch you dont lose that clip tho lol you may have to take the airbox off that sits next to your engine to get access.

try that first till you get another ICV,they do tend to pack in after time.
