General ice

i have 98' plated standard punto,(no elecrtric windows), im running a 10" sub in the rear off an amp...the rest off the ice is factory standard..i wanted to do something up front ( components) but the doors have no room 4 builds..the front speakers are housed under the windscreen..im stuck 4 ideas 4 the front end...help!!!

You need either a set of door pods from AudioScape....

or a crashed Punto Gt's door pods.

I will keep my eye out at the scrapyard for some.

You dont need 6x9's. they will drag the sound stage back, keep the factory rears and the sub.

stick some infinity's in the back. they are a bit of a bitch to get in cos of the seatbelt mounts,(unless you're mounting on a parcel shelf) but they sound the business. By the way sportings have door pods too if you're looking round scrappers.

i managed to fit a set of magnat 6.5" components in the front doors with no door builds. They sound great off my sony minidisk headunit with the rear components on the shelf. you need a bit of patience but they do fit! no rattling either. my punto's a 5 door though, dunno how much difference that will make.

As said b4 get the sporting door pods also remove the front speakers in the windscreen and replace with tweaters thats about the only thing i have ever seen done with them

wot size are sporting door pods? i got a 55sx, had to take chunks of the front out to get some pioneer 10cm 110w speakers in! i also got 200w 20cm speakers in the parcel shelf n a 800w pionner 12" sub all running off an amp!
