Hello everyone,
I've run into some problems with my 1989 Panda Shopping 750cl.
Shes got 150,000 kilometers, I'm the second owner, and she normally runs like a dream

Its a bit of a story, and I must say I'm not a mechanic, so don't judge, I'm just someone who likes doing it all themselves.
Anyways I started by carelessly overfilling the oil by about a half liter after getting frustrated at how much oil my little motor eats. I drove to work (5 miles) and drove back. On getting back I realized my mistake and rectified the situation.
However, since doing that, I have had major idling issues. If the headlights and ac and everything is off, it will hold a very, very weak idle. If the headlights are turned on it will struggle to idle for a second, and then die. This becomes awkward at times at stop signs.

Ive read through some forums over the past week and this lead me to believe its the IACV that became filthy when the oil was filled too high.
A few questions
Does anyone know what model carburetor was used for the 750's?
Ive attached a photo of what I believe to be the IACV. Can someone please confirm, and if it is, how does one go about removing it for a good clean
Or is it the lambda sensor, and If so could that be the culprit?

Ive also read that this could be a vacuum advance issue, but would that be caused by overfilling the oil?

Im a bit tired of feathering the accelerator all day and would much appreciate any help

That would appear to be a carburettor so no, that's not an IACV it's just the fuel cut off solenoid. Electronics free so no IACV, no O2 sensor, basically no sensors it's all mechanical. Looks to be a bit of oil round the rim there so may well have had some excess sucked through the breather pipe - you want some carb cleaner spray and clean up inside, particularly the idle jet which if I remember right is the brass screw looking thing about central toward the front of the carb looking down where the filter housing usually fits. You can unscrew that and blow it through, that jet blocking up will cause the symptoms you've got.
Carbs for the FIRE engines are all variants of the Webber 32TLF
