Got one as a hire car as the last Golf & Grande Punto drove away as I was signing in

I must say as a 'car' it does it's job well, It is well built. However it's just sooooo boring. The interior is dull (other than the over bright blue stereo and LCD console on the dials).
It's a 1.4 petrol which is surprisingly torquey but had no power at all. If your in a hurry you need to ring it's neck which results in very poor economy.
All in all Hyundai have come a long way since their horrors of yesteryear but they need to work on style.
